SECOND ROUND CALL FOR ASIM SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

Africa Sustainability Infrastructure Mobility (ASIM) is the consortium of four (4) Universities (Ardhi University, Covenant University, University of Johannesburg, University of Malawi – The Polytechnic) and an EU Technical partner (Leeds Beckett University), under the European Union Commission Grant on Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme Call Reference No. EACEA/07/2020. Opportunities exist in the second round for suitable qualified and highly motivated applicants from Africa to apply to study at any of the following institutions: ARDHI UNIVERSITY (Tanzania) and COVENANT UNIVERSITY (Nigeria).

The call is based on the urgent need to increase the talent pool of expertise in infrastructure and to develop the capacity of African Higher Education Institution (HEI) to deliver sustainable infrastructure education. The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme supports higher education cooperation between countries in Africa and aims to promote sustainable development by increasing the availability of trained and qualified high-level professional manpower in Africa. The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme is set up under the Pan-African Programme (Development Cooperation Instrument) with the primary objective of improving the skills and competences of students and staff through enhanced mobility between African countries.

Minimum Requirement for Application:
Masters’ degree programs: Second Class Upper (3.5 CGPA or its equivalent) in the relevant fields of study from any recognized University in Africa. PhD degree programs: Bachelor’s and Masters’ Degrees from any recognized University in Africa. Candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent in M.Sc./M.Eng./M.Tech. and a minimum CGPA of 3.5 (second class upper) in the Bachelor’s degree.

Please note the following:
